It’s an interesting discussion and Balague clearly sees potential in him.

Miguel sees himself as a 6 or an 8, likes to shoot from distance but prefers to assist. He always believes he can do better. He’s had encouragement from Freddie and BFG and told if he keeps applying himself he’ll get a first team opportunity.

Balague suggests he might play a role similar to Sergio Busquets. He suggests the Spanish FA are looking at him as he qualifies for their NT as his Mum is Spanish. He could also play for Nigeria through his Dad. Miguel is English born and has already represented England at youth level.

The young man seems well spoken and has supportive and encouraging parents who make an appearance late in the video.

It will likely be a couple of seasons before we see him on the fringes of the first team but he’s clearly well regarded.
