If Arteta’s system stops him from getting isolated so often and they can rebuild his confidence a bit then I think there’s definitely a case for him staying, especially as there’s only really Luiz and Saliba sure to be here next season and if the transfer market does collapse then Mustafi goes from potentially a £15m asset to a ‘loan and subsidise his wages’
