Smith Rowe with the skills : Gunners
I followed him pretty closely at Huddersfield. He’s the exact type of player we need to link midfield and attack. I don’t think he’s ready to be nailed on, but if he takes the minutes Willock has gotten this season, I think he’d contribute a lot.
His skill and vision is quite good, but has some decision making improvements to make, but that will come with more game time.
He mostly played as a 10 for Huddersfield, in a 4231, but it wasn’t a free role. He’s a great example of a modern 10, that doesn’t shirk his defensive duties. He played in the double pivot a couple times for them as well, and had featured on the wing for us several times as well. So his tactical flexibility could be really important for us.
