v. Bournemouth, 2019. : Gunners

Özil had a great game in our semi-recent 5-1 home win vs. the Cherries, notching up a goal and an assist (he also hit the post at one point with a classic “do I really have to do this?” shot). This is another dope ball by the German, played through the legs of Clyne and into Iwobi, whose flick is almost perfect. It’s a tight angle, but I like the pass because of how it creates a half-chance for Iwobi despite tight marking by Bournemouth and barely any off-the-ball movement by the Arse.
