What are you favourite and least favourite Arsenal shirts from over the years? : Gunners
Sorry if this has been done before. Bored in quarantine and I enjoy making lists of stuff so I’ll start. Pics and relevant trophies included for anyone who doesn’t remember them all.
FAVS
Home:
1990-92 (division one champions)
2000-02 (double winners)
2004-05 (FA cup winners)
Away:
1988-91 (division one champions)
1999-01 (UEFA cup final)
1995-96 (one of my earliest memories of Arsenal was seeing my dad wear this shirt)
Third:
2002-03 (re-badging of the previous year’s away kit and we never wore it much but it looked ace with the new badge and O2 sponsor)
2000-02
2017-18 (the only puma branded one I really liked)
LEAST FAVOURITES:

2008-10 (so many bad memories associated with this shirt. Truly the beginning of the banter era, plus the sleeves are fucking red!!)
2011-12 (never understood what was going on with the badge here)
2014-15 (this was an absolute mess)
Away:
2010-? (dunno how they got away with these colours together on the same shirt)
2009-10
2011-12 (nike ran out of ideas towards the end didn’t they?)
Third:
2007-08
2009-10 (the infamous spurs kit)
2015-16 (iirc, the design of this was originally criticised so Puma cleverly took the criticism on board by making those blocks of colour diagonal instead of vertical!)
