We’ve reached a half-century of Özil passes, and I thought I better post a good one for the occasion. So here’s one of his most famous assists in an Arsenal shirt, a deft flick that you feel few players on the planet would even think to try. It’s Ramsey’s goal v. CSKA Moscow distilled into pass form, leaving poor Jores Okore hopelessly stranded as he watches the ball loop over his head to Giroud.

Fun facts about this match:

• This goal was scored in the eighth minute, the first of five Arsenal scored on a fine February afternoon.

• Brazilian defender Gabriel arrived into the squad.

• Chuba Akpom came off the bench and won a penalty that Cazorla converted for our 3rd goal. It was his first and only league assist for Arsenal.

• Hector Bellerín scored his first goal in professional football, a 30-yard attempt in added time.
