Arsenal centre-back Calum Chambers is a loan option for West Ham as David Moyes looks to add defenders to his squad. Moyes has failed with bids for James Tarkowski and Chambers can also play at right-back, which is another position the Hammers manager wants to add : Gunners

Other than being somewhat versatile he offers no more than Holding, Mari or Mustafi and less than Gabriel, Luiz and Saliba. We have Bellerin, Cedric and AMN that can all play Rb better than him, and offer more than him there. He’s a good guy, a nice character, plays with a lot of energy and does his best but lacks overall quality. Type of player that could fetch a 2-5m loan fee and another 15-20m if he has a good loan. Similar to Martinez, you’d love to keep him, but hard to justify it when we need money to make more crucial additions. That’s just my opinion though, appreciate that other people see more promising qualities in him.
