Many want to keep both Xhaka and Ceballos. You’re happy with them and it’s understandable. My question to you is, how much different will the team look if Partey comes in and joins those two? Where are the goals going to come from?

It’s not like we can get Coutinho here while Ozil is here. His buyout fee is half the rumoured budget that we have.

In my opinion, every summer we want to hold onto players we know aren’t good enough. I don’t see how we get a goalscoring midfield if we keep most of them that got us here in the first place.

Auba is giving us about as much as one could give. Laca is not doing enough but it’s just the level he is at and Pepe is in his first season. So you either start demanding more from Laca and Pepe or you change the midfield. I don’t see how else you get more goals in.
