What should we logically do with this honestly? We’re in sign-or-sell situation because of the contract length, I don’t think it’s a good idea in any ways to keep him without extending the contract because his value will only dramatically go down.

For extending the contract, we have to consider if it’s worth or not, with his the 180k wage, which is not THAT ridiculous, but still quite expensive. We will have Aubameyang for the next 3 years, with Martinelli, with a lot of wingers. It’s a good chance that he will not be in our long-term starting line-up, and he’s only declining not improving. So, it’s not an easy decision to give him new contract with that high wage.

Selling him now??? personally it’s not ideal but it’s the best way for our long-term squad management. However, the problem is we have to find a team who needs him and is able to pay us and pay him good money. Hopefully Athletico will knock after they somehow offload Diego Costa.
