Seems very disingenuous to Gabriel. Basically telling him ‘this is the only option you get’.

But it’s a bit of a non-story, again it comes down to player’s preference like others have said, hopefully it’s us.

Also, the article states that the agreement was made during the sale of Osimhen, and that it depends on the sale of Koulibaly. I really doubt that Gabriel would be willing to wait for the inevitable weeks it would take Napoli to sell Koulibaly, particularly given his preference was supposedly us. Definitely not buying this.
