So have they identified Raya as some kind of world beater? Maybe this is a long term planning decision and they know Bayern or some other big club is tapping up Leno for next season. That’s the only way I can make sense of them going after Raya even if they have to loan him back. It sounds unlikely, Raya’s already 25 and I find it hard to believe he’s that good, but I’m baffled.
