Auba shows us again that being dependent on one player will end up costing you, if don’t have a balanced squad.

I think selling Auba to Inter or Barca is our best option. We don’t want to strengthen Chelsea.

Also it would help reduce the wage budget. I think we should now focus on building a youthful, balanced squad and having good (not great, because that would be pretty unrealistic although I can dream though) quality in every position. Then signing one or two world class players would truly bring us back into top 4 and challenging. We have the capabilities to do it. Good scouting network, potential to play for a top PL club, who’s trying to rebuild, ability to pay good wages, also an atrractive style of football is a plus.
