Don’t agree with this at all. Pulisic was maybe called a flop at the start of the season well before any injuries, but people were just taking the piss really. Everyone knew he was very young and still adapting to the PL. He then went on a very good run and lost form afterwards. By the time he got injured no one was calling him a flop.

As for Tierney, I don’t know anyone who’s said that. People throw around the word “flop” far too much. Pulisic was a bit overpriced, we paid too much for Pepe, Maguire is worth about £30m, but none of them are flops really.
