This splitting pass to Aaron Ramsey for the Gunners’ second goal at the San Siro seems almost old-fashioned to me; it’s the kind of ball young Mesut would constantly play Ronaldo/whoever played for Werder Bremen in with. One just feels bad for the defenders here. They’re not even holding a bad line, the pass is just too perfect. Their reactions are pretty funny as well, though. I like how Lucas Biglia (#21) has his hand up from before the ball even passes him to the end of the clip. Ricardo Rodríguez (#68) also deserves a mention for his comically half-hearted appeals.
