Three reasons why Folarin Balogun may not be leaving Arsenal this summer

Very true, look at all the best academies in the world and they all lose players, Barca have the most famous academy in the world and they lose players every year, we have benefited from this a couple times, it happens everywhere. We appear to be careful and set out a path to the first team for our youth players, stepping up to u23’s, going on loan for a season and then playing cup games/Europa League before starting in the PL.

Most of our youth players are happy with this path and we currently have a very good group who it appears to have benefited over the last 2-3 years. Balogun can see that, if he is not interested in going through that process then it might be best for him to move on for now.

The club can’t rush players through that they do not think are ready to play in important games and we cannot offer him crazy wages for someone his age as it will ruin the system we have in place that works.
